The Group is privately owned and is proud to be Australian, retaining all of its profits in Australia and employing more than 100 young Australians.
When The Proud Australia Group of Companies was established in 1982 it was as owner and operator of the cruise vessel Murray Expedition on South Australia’s River Murray.

Today, The Proud Australia Group maintains the same family ownership but a far more extensive and diverse business portfolio.
The Group is owned by the Foord family and its head office is based in Adelaide, South Australia.
